In-Season Team Meals:
Lisa Corwin, Teresa Schmitz, Kathy Bright, Joan Pettibone, and Jane Wiler
The facility usage form has been prepared for the High School cafeteria and kitchen from game one thru the Regional final game. I've made a copy of it for the file for next year. It was mentioned that perhaps this group could get area businesses to donate a dinner each week.
Mom's 101 Class:
Donna Hess, Sharon Schmitz, and Nikki West
The facility usage form has been prepare for July 25 @ 7:30pm in the High School cafeteria. I've made a copy of it for the file for next year. This group needs to get a flyer/registration form prepared and distributed. It was discussed that a $10 fee seemed reasonable. The possibility of t-shirts was also discussed.
Gatorade Project:
Kim Harris, Lisa Jensen, Deanne Meeks
Kim is going to contact BC Treasurer to obtain the contact name/number for Pepsi. Since the school has a contract with them she will check into the possibility of them donating the Gatorade before soliciting area businesses.
Meals during 2 a day practices:
Desiree Hughes, Brenda Owen, Tonia Kraft, Karen Peirano, Regina Danison

Dillon State Park Camp/Potluck Dinner:
Lorraine Nida, Janell Coffman, Teresa McGraw, Kim Mikesell
The campsites have been reserved and paid for. We owe the BC Athletic Department $760 as well as a "thanks" for advancing the funds. I have notes regarding phone number and campsite numbers for the file for next year. Kim is a veteran camper and would be a good candidate to speak at team meetings to help campers/parents understand what to pack.
Grants:
Claudia Barrett
Claudia is meeting with Coach Burkhardt in the next week to obtain his football "wish list." She and Cherie Demilt will then begin preparing grant applications.
Fundraising:

Car Wash: Cherie Demilt is organizing two dates! May 12 will be avoided so not to conflict with the Athletic Boosters fundraising drive.
Lift A Thon: Coach Burkhardt will be contacted. We'd like to get this started right away as it's a good way to put significant money in the bank.
Painting of the Paw Prints: Lisa Jensen, Joan Pettibone, Dee Stebelton
Lisa will contact some Baltimore residents to obtain their pricing on "selling" prints to all athletes. The football team could help paint the paws and Joan Pettibone has volunteered to do the individual artwork. Tom Bohl can be contacted to obtain road paint. The villege of Carroll will need to approve the date/time.
Sponsor Letters: Claudia will prepare letters to ask local businesses for donations.
Meet the Team @ Texas Roadhouse: Claudia will meet with the manager to discuss/organize a fundraiser dinner, silent auction, auction of sideline coaches (one per game), auction of prime parking spot and pressbox seats (at home games), etc. This could be a major event. Possible date: July 22, 2007.
NCAA Football Pools: Teresa McGraw will speak with Coach Thacker. The baseball team was able to make $3,000 (while not selling all of their tickets). Coach Burkhardt should be contacted to make sure he does not have a problem with this one as it is gambling. Tickets cannot be sold or bought by students under 18.
Bank Account: Desiree will set up a bank account at People's Bank in Carroll under the name of "BC Football Mom's Club." Signers for the 2007 season will be Desiree, Claudia, and Coach Burkhardt.

We will all meet again on May 17 at 7:00pm in the High School Cafeteria. Anne - can you please get that in the Lancaster Eagle Gazette as it gets closer? In the meantime, each committee should be meeting/planning/getting started. For those of you who missed the last meeting PLEASE give one of us a call/email and join us! It will take all of us working together to make this a success. A spreadsheet is attached with our contact information.
